Changes in the Fund Raising Targets for the Monastics' Visit and Kriya Ceremony
Due to a few recently added expenses, we had to revise our projected fund raising targets in order to accommodate the full scope of this visit. Our fund raising target has thus changed from $18,000, to $23,600. These changes will account for all additional expenses and allow us to send a donation to SRF Mother Centre to allow for more such visits in the future. We thank you for your help towards our Monastics’ Visit fund so far, and with your generous support we have raised a sum of $17,500. We will therefore need to raise an additional $6,100 in order to reach our goal
We believe this goal is readily attainable through the support of the many members and friends of the Toronto Meditation Centre, united in their devotion and dedication to God and Guru.
We very much appreciate your support and any donations that you could provide. There is a Monastics’ visit donation box placed in the bookroom. Donations of any amount may be made by cash, cheque or by credit card. If you wish to speak directly with our Treasurer, please leave a message on the Toronto Centre telephone line at (647) 435-9946. We deeply appreciate your generosity and support!
Please be assured that, regardless of whether you are able to provide a donation at this time, your prayers, service and spiritual support are greatly appreciated and are an important contribution to helping us successfully reach our goal.

Satsanga Questions for the Monastics’ Visit
As you know the visiting monastics will be conducting a Satsanga on Sunday May13th, and, we welcome you to submit any questions that you may have for the Satsanga. Questions which might be of interest to everyone attending can be submitted in the Satsanga questions box placed in our bookroom.
Volunteering for the May 2012 Monastics' visit and Kriya Ceremony
We invite our members to sign up for volunteering during the various events taking place from May 11th through 13th, there is a volunteer signup sheet placed under our bulletin board in our bookroom. Even if you haven't volunteered at our centre previously, you are welcome to contact Mr. Shamsher Kainth. For more information and details, Shamsher can be reached at shamsher@hotmail.com. We are looking for volunteers to serve in various areas like our bookroom, ushering, pickup and supplies, hospitality and others. Your help is needed and much appreciated.
SRF Monastics’ Visit & Kriya Ceremony, May 11-13, 2012
We are delighted to announce that there will be an SRF Monastic’ Visit and Kriya ceremony in Toronto on May 11-13, 2012. Please visit our Monastics Visit page for more information about this visit. These visits are a wonderful opportunity for us to help SRF Mother Center in spreading the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda by bringing together hundreds of devotees and friends to practice his meditation techniques, receive Kriya Yoga initiation and share in divine fellowship. We hope you can join us!
